Connecting to the internet is easy. You need to have a WiFi enabled laptop or device in order to connect. Access codes are provided at the reception and the network you need to connect is Quadriga. Just click to view the available wireless network and choose from the list. It will automatically ask you for an access code and once entered you will be able to connect. Usually wireless internet codes are valid for 48 hours, but sometimes need to be changed if any guest is having problems connecting. Simply ask the reception to re-issue the code if the previous one does not seem to work.

Quirky little cafes and even pubs have started similar campaign, by luring more passers by to come in and browse the net while sipping their coffee.

Some of London's most impressive cultural centres and world-class museums now also hook-up to WiFi and it has proved to attract many people. The Barbican, Europe's largest performing arts centre, for example, lies within a wifi hotspot with a sufficient signal. The second floor library is also equipped with internet terminals. Loved by students and artists, Barbican and its wifi hotspot attracts a vast number of people from different backgrounds, who enjoy the atmosphere and harmony of the place.

Almost all of London's libraries and universities also provide WiFi hotspots in addition to cabled internet terminals as it helps those who want to study, research or simply browse the net to do so in an academic, quiet and pleasurable environment. The British Library, for example, is like a squat these days with people sitting on the floor browsing. The Wifi movement has surely become one of the most engaging activities in many London's finest institutions.
