London & Partners, the official promotional agency of the capital has revealed a calendar of incredible London events this year to fascinate domestic as well as international tourists.

The calendar has been launched as part of the London & Partners latest Limited Edition London campaign, a maiden universal marketing campaign run by the agency since its start in April. The campaign aims to encourage more people to visit London and make the most of one-off and fascinating events going on around the capital from now until the beginning of the London 2012 Olympics.

The calendar has been brought alive by Samuel Pepys, a renowned 17th century diarist who kept a diary of his experiences through 1660s. The marvellous Pepys Show Installation was put on display in London Trafalgar Square for a day only, which treated passers-by with loads of fun, 3D pictures of London events like Chinese New Year, leading art shows and Shakespeare's Globe plays. Pepys Show in London Trafalgar Square also provided visitors with a preview of exciting London events taking place in the next nine months.

Pepys Show in London Trafalgar Square will be followed by a line-up of special limited edition events in London including Leonardo da Vinci exhibition at the Queen's Gallery, Damien Hirst at Tate Modern, Camping at ZSL London Zoo, Buckingham Palace Private Tour, World Shakespeare Festival, Thames Diamond Jubilee Pageant and many more.

Last year, over 26.2 million tourists visited London and contributed about £11 billion to its economy. As the London Olympics is fast approaching, the Limited Edition London campaign is trying to seize every possible opportunity to display everything the metropolis has to offer from its iconic landmarks and glittering events to amazing shopping and contemporary theatres.
