Hyde Park in London is one of the many green spaces within Central London providing playgrounds and plenty of room for kids to roam around. Kensington Gardens, on the western side of Central London's primary open space, Hyde Park, offers a playground and pond which is perfect for toy boat sailing, as well a famous Peter Pan statue (near the Long Water).

It can be quite expensive to enter the Royal Botanical Gardens at Kew but its well worth it as its great fun for kids and adults alike. There's plenty of green space, wildfowl and some wonderful glasshouses. One of the glasshouses even has an aquarium.
