Novello Theatre in London presents Spring Awakening, a discovery & sexual awakening

Novello Theatre in London

Novello Theatre in London

Novello Theatre in London is now showing the Spring Awakening, a vibrant and exciting story about a personal discovery and sexual awakening. Opened on 22 May in 1905 the London Novello theatre was designed by W.G.R. Sprague (who also designed no less than 33 new theatres during his career).

The Novello in London, previously known as the Waldorf Theatre, was part of the major redevelopment then taking place in this area of London. The Novello theatre first opened with a season of opera and drama starring the actress Eleanora Duse and the well-known opera singers Emma Calve and Edouard de Reszke.

If you are looking for a fun night out, Spring Awakening at the Novello might be a perfect choice. Based on Franz Wedekind's late nineteenth century play, the story portrays how a dozen young people make their way through the thrilling, complicated, confusing and mysterious time of their sexual awakening.
