
Trafalgar Square
The Trafalgar Square, built to commemorate Nelson's victory at the battle of Trafalgar in 1805, is a spacious and beautiful part of the London city to meet friends. From there it is just minutes to the National Gallery and the National Portrait Gallery that host world collections and regular exhibitions. St Martins In The Fields offers afternoon concerts, and has a coffee shop in a crypt as well as a coffee shop.
