Swan Lake, the Royal Ballet, a beautifully powerful mix of exquisite dance, tragic romance and music composed by Tchaikovsky returns to London.
Produced by Anthony Dowell and choreographed by Marius Petipa and Lev Ivanov, Swan Lake ballet has been reworked with designs inspired by Imperial Russia at the time the first event performance took place in 1895.
Swan Lake ballet, at the Royal Opera House in London tells the story of the evil Von Rothbart who tricks a Prince into forsaking his true love, Odette with disastrous consequences.
Enter a world of royalty, romance and tragedy in the setting of a gleaming majestic palace and enchanted moonlit forest in Swan Lake in the London Royal Opera House.
