Stomp at the New Ambassadors theatre is not a traditional West End Show. It has no words; everything is expressed through music and theatrical performance and it appeals to all nationalities and cultures. The concept behind Stomp is that you don't need expensive instruments to make music. Characters create interesting percussive sound through the use of brooms and bins among other everyday items. Stomp is about rhythm, which is common to all cultures.
Regardless of your music taste Stomp at the New Ambassadors promises a unique performance of dance and music. It is vibrant and engaging; you'd have to get involved to make the most of it. It is also interesting to see how simple things can create something magical and how performer personalities reflect on what 'instrument' they're playing.
Don't forget - no words, so any foreign visitors welcome!
