Shell Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2009 exhibition at the National History Museum, London promises to be a memorable London event that will bring the nature closer to a human eye.

Photographers from around the world will present their best work, best captured wildlife pictures to the curious exhibition visitors. Only the best, most striking pictures will go on display at the Natural History Museum, London.

As every year, the competition aims to find the most appealing and original wildlife picture and recognise professional photographers around the globe.

The winner of the Shell Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2009 will receive a cheque for £10,000, presented at an awards ceremony at the National History Museum, London, in October 2008.
