The Queen's Diamond Jubilee will be celebrated over the long central weekend from Saturday 2 June to Tuesday 5 June 2012, with festive activities throughout London, the UK and across the Commonwealth.

The Diamond Jubilee Celebrations will include a Gala at the magnificent Royal Albert Hall on 2 June, two days long Family Festival at Hyde Park on 2-3 June, a Big Lunch across UK on June 3, Thames Diamond Jubilee River Pageant and Festival at Battersea Park on 3 June, more than two thousand Beacons will be lit throughout the UK, Channel Islands, the Isle of Man and the Commonwealth on 4 June, the Diamond Jubilee Concert at Buckingham Palace on 4 June and a Service of Thanksgiving at St Paul's Cathedral on 5 June with lots of festivities across UK will mark an end to four days of long weekend celebrations of The Queen's Diamond Jubilee.

The Jubilee Family Festival

The Big Jubilee Lunch

Thames Diamond Jubilee Pageant

From Battersea Rail Bridge to Tower Bridge along the River Thames

A flotilla of up to 1,000 boats of all shapes and sizes from across the UK and the world will gather on River Thames and The Queen & The Duke will travel in the Royal Barge. Public can enjoy the pageant from vantage points along the route on 50 large screens.

Diamond Jubilee Festival at Battersea Park

On the day of the Queen's Thames Diamond Jubilee River Pageant, Battersea Park will host a Jubilee Festival featuring funfair, crafts, vintage music, dance, a pop-up pub, a diamond crusted giant cake stand with diamond jubilee themed cakes and a portrait of the Queen made of 3,120 cakes, one for each week of her reign.

To celebrate The Queen's Diamond Jubilee, more than 2,600 Beacons will be lit throughout the UK, the Commonwealth, UK Overseas Territories, Channel Islands and the Isle of Man by members of different communities. The Queen will light the national beacon in London.

The Diamond Jubilee Concert

BBC will televise the Diamond Jubilee Concert performed by world class names from the worlds of rock, pop, classical music and musical theatre. The Queen, The Duke and the Royal Family will attend the concert in historic settings of Buckingham Palace with stunning lighting and projections.

The Queen's Diamond Jubilee: Service of Thanksgiving and Carriage Procession

The Queen and members of the Royal Family will travel in a ceremonial carriage procession to attend a Service of Thanksgiving at St Paul's Cathedral. The Queen has celebrated her earlier jubilees and even her 80th birthday in 2006 at St Paul's.

The Queen's Diamond Jubilee Celebrations weekend will conclude with a full day of festivities in central London. Starting with the National Service of Thanksgiving at St Paul's Cathedral, receptions at Mansion House and Guildhall, a lunch at Westminster Hall by the Livery, a 1902 State Landau Carriage Procession to Buckingham Palace which will be accompanied by the Sovereign's Escort, a 60 gun salute along the procession, a Guard of Honour in the Forecourt of Buckingham Palace. Finally a Balcony appearance by The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, and Members of The Royal Family and an RAF Flypast and and a Feu de Joie - a commemorative cascade of rifle fire by The Queen's Guard will mark the end of long weekend celebrations of The Queen's Diamond Jubilee.
