To welcome the arrival of 2009, come and celebrate in London and join the parade, which sets off at Parliament House when Big Ben strikes noon. From Parliament House the parade continues to Westminster Abbey, 10 Downing Street, Royal Horse Guards, Trafalgar Square, Cockspur Street, Piccadilly Circus, Royal Academy, Fortnum & Mason, Ritz Hotel and Berkley Street. More than 10,000 performers will be representing 20 countries worldwide and more than half a million are expected to cram London's most famous streets to see the fantastic spectacular as it weaves its way along the two mile route. This event is free for all so better come early to get the best viewpoint. You can also book a seat in one of the grandstand that line the route, it is located in Whitehall or Piccadilly.Cost: The event is free to attend, but grandstand seating costs £15.00 per ticket.
