London Mela 2010 will be held at Gunnersbury Park in Ealing London this August, and is all set to explore diverse colours of the flourishing South Asian culture with nine exciting zones. This year's mela holds an impressive line-up of international stars and vibrant performers, coming together from every corner of the world and making a whole park alive with the dances, theatre and traditional performances.
London Mela '10 in Gunnersbury Park fascinates music savvy people with a huge variety of music, ranging from the time-honoured classical music to the trendy modern music. Various devoted zones for DJs, dance, street arts, comedy, and visual arts are also on hand at this multi-coloured mela. Other highlights of London Mela include the amazing diversity of food, carefully selected from South Asia as well as the whole world and most of all, an interesting fairground area with rides and thrills, perfect for all the ages.
A Multicultural London Mela celebrates Asian culture and music and receives over 50,000 visits per year. London Mela '10 will offer numerous stages for all types of amusement - from conventional pop to long-standing classical music, sophisticated urban grooves and interesting East/West fusion, there will be certainly something for everyone! London Mela will feature heritage attractions, exciting dance performances, kids' and sports activities, long-established craft stalls and a massive funfair and an astonishing carnival-style finale in Gunnersbury Park, Ealing London!
