This annual London jazz festival is attended by thousands of fans from all over the UK and Europe, in addition to the many performers and shows the lie to those who might say that jazz is dead. The Southbank Centre contains several venues which participate in the hosting but the event also spreads across central London to a number of fashionable clubs, such as Cargo, 606 and also a number of London restaurants.

Expect tickets to sell out very quickly after coming on sale as the organisers of the event always manage to produce a line up of really superb jazz performers that demonstrates that jazz is alive and kicking.

A further factor in making tickets hard to get close tot the date is that many of the venues are quite small, which is really conducive to the proper jazz atmosphere.
