If you are interested in contemporary British writing, Jewish Book Week is for you. The event will start with discussion on 'Israel at 60' a film exclusively shot for Jewish Book Week audience. Multitalented film maker Etgar Keret, world acclaimed writer Amos Oz will start the discussion, Shlomo Avineri will chair, with Menahem Brinker and Hannah Naveh. Literary glitterati such as Monica Ali, Joe Craig, Amy Bloom, Susie Orbach, Jonathan Rabb, Zadie Smith and many more will address the audience for the next eight days.The diverse topics include The Unique Case of Jewish Secularism, Once Upon a Country, The Art of Blogging, The Joe Craig Show and many more. There will be writing workshops, singing, dancing storytelling and the cabaret-style Bookniks evening. During the Jewish Book Week, there will be book signing sessions by Anne Sebba for biography of Jennie Churchill, Miriam Karlin for Some Sort of Life, Sue Gordon and Rita Christie for Birth to Bat Mitzvah. The last evening The JC Evening will open with the first award ceremony of the Chaim Bermant Prize
