Gauguin: Maker of Myth at the Tate Modern London will analyse this exceptional artist's special methods of storytelling. The first major Gauguin London exhibition for over 50 years, Gauguin: Maker of Myth at the London Tate Modern will display over 100 pieces from private and public collections.

Gauguin lived from 1848 until 1903 and was a pioneer of Modernist art. The powerful and bold images created by Gauguin were seen as a radical movement away from the Impressionist art of the time.

Gauguin: Maker of Myth at the London Tate Modern will take a fresh and challenging look at the artist's methods and lifestyle. Concentrating on the myths and fables behind his great works, the Gauguin: Maker of Myth in London Tate Modern is an incredibly interesting insight into a great man who shaped the future of modern art.
