With a challenging New Zealand Tour, that should have gone more easily for England than it did, the even more challenging first test gets underway against a South Africa side, which has proved itself to be an extremely strong adversary. South Africa was last seen demolishing the English team in the World Cup. For cricketing enthusiasts this is a superb opportunity to see two unevenly matched sides at play. For those with their eyes less closely on the game, it is a chance to indulge in the peripheral activity of getting gently sloshed as the game collapses close by. If, by any small chance, the England team can perform against all expectations, then South Africa's fans in London will contribute to a riotous atmosphere at Lord's and across the capital. Either way, it will be a great day out.Visiting England vs. South Africa:
