Enjoy first class competition from the world's best riders. This year is a very special show as Olympia celebrates the centenary of the first international horse show event to be held in the historic Grand Hall, Olympia. The Centenary Finale at the end of each performance will be a celebration of this event and there is a very special performance - the Centenary Gala Performance on the evening of Monday, 17 December when the great and the good will be returning to relive Olympia. Expect to see show jumping competitions, dressage competitions, dog agility, Shetland Pony Grand National, Quadrille Mountain and Moorland Championships and the Veteran Horse Society Championships. http://www.olympiahorseshow.com/

Trafalgar Square, home to one of the world's most famous New Years party, sees thousands of people singing Auld Lang Syne at the stroke of midnight. Free transport is provided all night by London Transport, sponsored by various companies.
