Wren St Mary Aldermary is a London church which was reconstructed in 1680, by Sir Christopher Wren. It was destroyed in 1666 by the great fire and later rebuilt in the Gothic style of architecture. London city has a tradition of organizing walking tours to its 20 historical churches - every day. The walkers are accompanied by touring guides who give expert commentary on the visited monuments and sites. The commentaries are rich with historical tales, and replete with expert knowledge on the subject. The guides are members of the city's Guide Lecturer's Association and thus qualified for their job. All church tours start at 10.30am from St Mary Aldermary which is situated on Bow Lane and faces Cannon Street. The church is dot next to Mansion House Tube Station. Different walks are focused on covering worshipping places in the western and eastern parts of the city.

The reception church of Wren St Mary Aldermary gives the coverage area of the walk scheduled for 10th May 2008 on Saturday. The places of worship to be visited on this tour are :- All Hallows by the Tower, St Nicholas COLE Abbey, St. Andrew by the Wardrobe, St. Michael Cornhill, St. Anne and St. Agnes, St. Mary Moorfields, St. Bartholomew the Less, St. Bartholomew the Great, St. Mary le Bow, St. Mary at Hill, St. Benet Welsh Church, St. Mary Aldermary, St. Botolph Aldersgate, St. Mary Abchurch, St. Clement Eastcheap, St. Etheldreda,s Chapel, St. Martin Ludgate, St. Giles Cripplegate, St. Magnus the Martyr, St. James Garlickythe and St. Dunstan in the west
