The O2 Arena in London will be using the acclaimed opera, Carmina Burana, to present the Monumental Classics Series in early 2009 and if you are a fan of the very finest opera - don't miss your chance to book the tickets to avoid disappointment.

A beautiful cantata, Carmina Burana, was created by Carl Orff between 1935 and 1936 and is based on 24 of the poems originated in the medieval collected works of Carmina Burana.

In January 2009 the London opera fans will have a perfect chance to see this masterpiece brought to life by Franz Abraham, who is one of the most well known opera talents. Abraham will be directing over 200 performers and artists in what looks set to be a real highlight on the arts calendar.

This O2 production of the classic opera will feature some great talents, including the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, and the beautiful set, specially created by Walter Haupt, will enhance the performance and the audience can expect the finest opera on stage.
