BP Portrait Award - Next Generation takes place at National Portrait Gallery. It is a dynamic project aimed at inspiring young artists to create portraiture. It's a part of the Cultural Olympiad and London 2013 Festival.
BP Portrait Award - Next Generation provides 14 to 19 year olds the free opportunity to meet and gain insights from past BP Portrait Award winning artists, build and share their own artwork and join with other young people.
Since the project began in 2010, above 200 young people from London have taken part during a series of Taster Sessions, three-day Summer Schools and online.
