A weeklong celebration of London's diverse and renowned jewellery business, London Jewellery Week 2010 kicks off on 7 June and runs until 13 June. Across London events
will be taking place showcasing the rising stars in jewellery design, as well as featuring well established brands.
Throughout the week there will be activities across the city from Sloane Street to Hatton Garden to Covent Garden's
, visitors will be delighted with the sparkling events on offer by designers, manufacturers and retailers. The four cornerstone events are:
Treasure (11-13 June)
The Victoria House on Kingsway hosts this unique opportunity to view jewellery collections of up to eighty of Britain's most talented contemporary designers.
The Goldsmith's Company Events
Goldsmith's Hall will be the venue for the London Jewellery Week launch party as well as the Day of Knowledge seminars and the Salon Prive fashion show.
Hatton Garden Festival (12 June)
A fabulous day out for all the family, the Hatton Garden Festival is a one day street festival with jewellery-making demonstrations, activities for kids, a street market and more.
Green Street Jewellers' Association
Discover Magazine is to be launched in the Jaguar Boutique at the Berkeley Hotel in Knightsbridge, by the Green Street Jewellers' Association. There will be a sponsored prize draw and an exotic diamond trail.
Celebrities, jewellery collectors and industry clients will attend the launch event alongside patrons of the week including Sir Terence Conran, Theo Fennell, Nadja Swarovski and fashion designers Amanda Wakely and Philip Tracey.
The London Jewellery Week is in its 3rd year and has been supported by the industry itself. Sponsors include Swarovski, Boodles, Lanson and Jaguar. The week is supported by the London Development Agency and City Fringe Partnership.
