The Imperial War Museum in London is an amazing museum to visit to get an insight into the world's differences from the British viewpoint. Originated in 1917 this museum has a rich compilation of paintings, sculptures, posters, films, videotapes, photographs and much more. The museum, despite its ostentatious name, features people that are still alive or their parents and grandparents.

There are forever novel and brand new exhibitions presenting precious collections. Besides this you can at all times visit the Cabinet War Rooms, under Whitehall, near Downing Street and H.M.S. Belfast.

The London Imperial War Museum is now holding exhibitions on Ian Fleming to commemorate his birth as well as an exhibition on the life and work of the most famous secret agent, James Bond, who made his name a trademark.

'From War to Windrush' is one more open exhibition at the IWM in London that will last till the 10th April 2010 which will include special personal stories of Black people from the West Indies and Britain in the First and Second World Wars.

If you are fond of British art, visit the 'Breakthrough' exhibition that will feature various artists and their exceptional efforts. One of the most latest London exhibitions, 'Displaced', that displays the art work of Osman Ahmed, a Kurdish artist reflecting on his people's pain during Sadam Hussein's Anfal during the late 1980s, is a fine opportunity to publicize with both the Kurdish contemporary art and historical events.
