Cannizaro Park in London
Cannizaro Park was officially Grade II listed in 1987 and added to the English Heritage Register of Parks and Gardens of Special Historic Interest. Cannizaro Park's Grade II reference number is 1790 NGR TQ2370.
Also of great interest in Cannizaro Park is the Millennium Fountain designed by Richard Rome. The beautiful Millennium Fountain was commissioned as a result of a competition to replace the previous, ageing fountain. The new Millennium Fountain cost £50,000. A large number of artists were encouraged to compete for the creation of a new fountain, with Richard Rome selected finally.
Cannizaro is a fabulous old English garden that still preserves the styling and plantations of old.
