Strike a Pose Bowling in London

The face of bowling in London has changed. New bowling venues in London have popped up around the city offering ten pin bowling with a live DJ, well stocked bar and tasty food. A night out on the town can now be spent on one of the bowling lanes in London.

In Bayswater, central London there are two bowling venues slightly different in appeal. Queens is located a few doors down from Queensway tube station and is more of a complete entertainment centre. The venue offers 12 lanes of ten pin bowling as well an ice skating rink with state of the art sound and light, private karaoke rooms, fully licensed bar, Italian ice cream parlour and video games.

All Star Lanes Bayswater is a slightly more up market version of your typical bowling alley. Located at Whiteleys shopping centre, the theme is 1950's American style with milkshakes and American food available in the Diner before or after your game. There is a cocktail bar stocked with the largest selection of bourbons in London and a collection of premium US spirits. A DJ plays from 8pm to close Thursday to Saturday which makes this a great place for a party or work do. There are 8 bowling lanes and a private room for hire. It is also a fun day out for families as kids are allowed in until 6pm.

Also themed around the 1950's American style when bowling was the height of fashion, Bloomsbury Lanes in London has 8 bowling lanes, with the only vintage above lane ball return outside the US. The venue offers a large cocktail bar and serves classic American food. It is centrally located off Russell Square and has the Kingpin Suite with five bowling lanes for private hire.

So whether you're meeting up with friends, or want to hold a private event why not look at London's bowling alleys for top-class entertainment.
