
Apollo Theatre in London
The Apollo Theatre on Shaftesbury Avenue in London's West End is currently showing an edition of the typical novel about evacuees to Wales during World War II by Emma Reeves - Carrie's War. Emma Reeves' adaptation of Nina Bawden's book brings to life the story with a total cast of 9 people performing 15 characters. You can expect to hear conventional Welsh songs and hymns presented live. Actors starring include Amanda Symonds, Sarah Edwardson, James Beddard and Prunella Scales.
This initial London West End theatre of the Edwardian period was started in the year 1901 and later on modernized in the year 1930s. The Productions presented feature the original act of R. C. Sherriff's Journey's End in the year 1928 with Arthur Miller's The Price, Laurence Olivier and Jeffrey Bernard Is Unwell with Peter O'Toole.
Carrie's War will be showing from 18 June until 12 September. From 26 October until 5 December you can see Dylan Moran.
